Supporting Special Education Students: Item Donation Request for PPS SEPTSA Online Auction
I am reaching out on behalf of the Portland Public Schools Special Education Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PPS SEPTSA) to invite you to partner with us for our upcoming Annual Online Auction, launching on Friday, November 27, 2026.
As a district-wide unit, PPS SEPTSA serves the unique needs of the special education community across all Portland Public Schools. Your item donation directly supports our 2026–2027 Impact Goals, including:
Teacher & Staff Mini-Grants: Direct funding for special education teachers, paraprofessionals, and support staff (SLPs, OTs, PTs) for sensory resources and classroom materials.
Student Scholarships: Financial support for graduating special education students pursuing post-secondary goals.
Sensory-Friendly Events & Inclusion: Hosting inclusive community gatherings (museum days, sensory movies) and funding neurodiversity-affirming books and Unified Sports across PPS schools.
Family Advocacy: Workshops, IEP/IFSP training, and resource fairs to empower local families.
